“Get used to lifting your heart to God, in acts of thanksgiving, many times a day. Because he gives you this and that. Because you have been despised. Because you haven’t what you need or because you have. Because he made his Mother so beautiful, his Mother who is also your Mother. Because he created the sun and the moon and this animal and that plant. Because he made that man eloquent and you he left tongue-tied … Thank him for everything, because everything is good.”
– St. Josemaria Escriva

Hey! I just found your blog and am your newest subscriber—seems like we have a lot in common! I'm super curious about these birthday boxes for the food pantry. What are they, exactly?
Ashley says
So nice to meet you, Torrie! Birthday Boxes are a project we do as a family to donate to our local food pantry each fall – I wrote a post all about it here: https://thebigwhitefarmhouse.blogspot.com/2017/03/giving-birthday-boxes-for-food-pantry.html
Let me know if I can answer any other questions!

I really like that you write a list of intentions each month! I don't know if I'd be able to keep up with a monthly post like this but I really like the idea! Also, you just reminded me that I need to start thinking about Christmas . . .

Less than 50 days 'til Christmas, can you believe it?!
