The Big White Farmhouse

intentional living, little by little

{inspire me} Volume Two

ETSY SHOP.
In the market for a new pillow to add a little color to your space?  I am loving the pillows over at Paisley Sprouts.  This rainbow one is really fun and I love the stripes (and back!) of this one.  She also has a black and white version!

ON MY TO-DO LIST.
Two weeks until my big flying adventure with my girl and I am starting to get anxious.  Okay, SUPER anxious.  Natalie’s pep talk couldn’t have come at a better time…I’m going to read it over and over again!

TUTORIAL.
These salt dough egg ornaments are an easy craft to do with the kids, but I think they would be darling for so many other things.  Can you picture them tied to cloth napkins on an Easter dinner table?  What about as a decorative accent attached to a present?

MUST READ.
Best Practices of Blogging was a common sense, but needed post for me this week.  My favorite reminder: “You’re drawn to blogging because you have something to share. Don’t get caught up in looking or sounding like someone else’s blog—remember that your voice and your point of view are what make your blog unique and interesting.”

IN THE KITCHEN.
I found Becky via Instagram.  She is a Mamma to four and is passionate about health.  Her feed is so inspirational!  She just started a blog and I’m dying to make her latest recipe: Moist Pumpkin Protein Muffins.

FOR THE KIDDOS.
I like to give books as part of birthday gifts and Z Is for Moose (which I learned about from Design Mom) sounds like a great choice.  Anxious to read this one with my boys!
