Today’s TBR Tuesday theme was fun for me to research: I searched my Goodreads shelves for books with the words Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How in the title.  For each prompt, I picked two books from my TBR list and two that I’ve already read and enjoyed.  Here’s my list:

How was The Girl who Smiled Beads? I have been meaning to read it.

Also wondering what your thoughts were on Glow Kids. What would you give as a summary of that book? I’m thinking I should buy it as our third boy will be getting a phone soon, and I am just feeling so ill equipped to be parenting through this whole cell phone/social media time period. So overwhelming!

Both books were really, really good. (I think I gave them both 4 stars?) Glow Kids was VERY thought-provoking and really set me on a path of less screens…or more accurately, a more intentional focus on balancing screens with “real world” no screen exposure. It was a process and required a lot of heart work for me….am I throwing screens at the kids so that they’ll be quiet and I can have five minutes to myself? Am I turning a blind eye to constant gaming because I’m avoiding the conflict and/or fight? It was a convicting book and definitely motivated me to be a better mother in this area. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you read it.
