Life isn’t long enough to do all you could accomplish. And what a privilege even to be alive. In spite of all the pollutions and horrors, how beautiful this world is. Supposing you only saw the stars once every year. Think what you would think. The wonder of it! – Tasha Tudor

CHRISTMAS COOKIE BRAINSTORMING
What are your go-to cookies and/or sweet treats during the Christmas season? I’m brainstorming ideas for the neighbor’s cookie boxes and would love to hear your favorites! I’ll go first and share one of ours: Gingerbread Men!

We love Oreo truffles for Christmas sweet treats! Brown Eyed Baker has the recipe. Easy for kids to help and they freeze well!

Ooh, those sound awesome. Adding them to my list, thank you!

They aren’t really cookies, but our family loves the waffle pretzel/rollo/red or green m&m treat. We also make alot of great grandma’s sugar cookies with almond flavor to frost and decorate. And short bread, and ginger molasses spice, and i guess we make alot of cookies!

So many good ideas! We do the pretzel bites too, but usually just with a Hershey kiss. We’ll have to try the Rollo!

Peanut Butter Blossoms! These are the peanut butter cookies with a chocolate star or Hershey’s Kiss in the center. We end up doubling or tripling the recipe – sometimes more.
Happy baking!

I LOVE peanut butter blossoms! They definitely need to make the list for 2023. Thanks for the reminder!
