the post-Christmas haze of relaxation, new toys and good books
trains and trucks and excavators all over the house
a brand new pack of sharpened colored pencils
big pink blooms on my Christmas cactus
this mild weather (temps in the 50s and 60s!), which gets the kids and Lucy outside to play
toddler hugs around the neck
brilliant red sunsets behind the treeline
starting my third year in my one line a day journal (I love this little memory book so much)
hikes to the back of the property with my dog
Mark finally off crutches!
an unexpected sale on ebay
another little bit chipped away on one of our student loans (just $500 to go!)
finding this song again
wrapping up and mailing Epiphany books to my nephew and little cousin
a quick “date” with Mark to look at tile
starting a new workout and the soreness that comes with it (everything hurts…)
the private revelation to Catalina Rivas that has deeply inspired my behavior and prayers when going to Mass
listening to “Hot Cross Buns” on repeat
