The Big White Farmhouse

intentional living, little by little

February 7, 2020

No.349: 2020 Gratitude // 06

A new series for 2020!  If I record 20 things every week, I’ll have over 1,000 items by December 31.
That’s a lot to be grateful for.  Affiliate links ahead!

spices organized neatly all in a row
warm sunshine before the weather turned cold again
getting to celebrate the love of my life’s birthday for the 15th time
dreaming big dreams for our future with Mark
basil scented dish soap
news of a friend’s pregnancy
that nothing was broken when TJ fell down half a flight of stairs
reading a book with such beautiful writing
Mark’s safety (and the rest of us here at home!) as he traveled for work
the Angelus
taking the time to make homemade playdough with the little kids
belly laughs
a few sales on Poshmark
when P imitates some of the lines from the Choo Choo Bob Show
M’s enthusiasm for learning the guitar
watching an astronaut making a PB&J in space with Sophie (she was fascinated)
my hard-working washer and dryer
listening to the other kids rave about D’s “amazing” pancakes
when everyone is tucked in their beds and the house is silent
the gift of perseverance on long weeks

Falling down the stairs- how scary! I'm sorry for your mama heart and so glad he's okay!
Also, amen to the hardworking washer & dryer. So thankful for those. I went six weeks without two summers ago and it was AGONY! Every time the kids spilled I was like, "We don't have a washing machine!!!" Haha!

YES! For fun, I started tallying how many loads I do in the month of February and it's just insane. SO thankful that I don't have to do all that work myself.
