A new series for 2020: if I record 20 things every week, I’ll have over 1,000 items by December 31.
That’s a lot to be grateful for.

the Chaplet of Divine Mercy

an afternoon nap
a new bar of soap that smells like wildflowers

Teach me your ways! I need to learn how to give haircuts…my daughter hasn't had one in about two years (I know, so bad!), and my older son has just barely started getting hair, but I imagine it will be overgrown in a few months here. How did you learn?

Our younger boys like their hair buzzed in the spring/summer since Virginia is SO hot, so it makes for an easy haircut. My teen and tween actually have a hairstyle, though, so we'll see if they're brave enough to let me try to cut it, ha!
For my daughter, I just trim straight across with wet hair. It's definitely not perfect, but she has a bit of a wave to her hair so it's forgiving.
For trimming my (longer) hair, I've had good luck with the ponytail method. I found a few videos/instructions on Pinterest and it's worked out great!

I am loving being caught up on laundry too!! I guess I just need to NEVER leave my house and I'll stay caught up. Haha!
