Teaching my children how to see need in others and respond accordingly is very important to me. I am always on the look out for tangible ways to show this to them. This is our on-going list of ways to give to others. Hopefully, it will be helpful to you also! Be it money, coloring pages or just smiles, there is always something we can give to another!
1. Send a gift to someone recovering from surgery.
2. Send box tops from food boxes to help rebuild schools in Joplin, MO.
3. Color pictures to brighten someone’s day.
4. Sponsor a child through Compassion.
5. Fill a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child.
6. Send a care package to troops serving overseas.
7. Donate some of your fabric stash so others can make quilts for women and kids in Haiti.
8. Donate food to your local food bank.
9. Support an entreprenuer by loaning $25 through Kiva.
10. Read a book, give a book.
11. Support farmers through the purchase of coffee from Mission Coffee Ministry.
12. Support an adoption by purchasing goods from hope:handmade.
13. Donate gently used baby clothing to Loved Twice.
14. Share your gifts or talents by filling a need on the Holiday Hands website.
